digest readability difficulties

Argh, this new digest format is very wacky. All the subject lines and
replies are at the top, my email server inserts a warning note that this
digest email could be SPAM, then the individual messages start below that.
None of them have headers or dividers, it's all run-on, so reading and
finding the individual messages (who says what) are difficult to read.
Only some people's personal signature lines help break up the text.

What's the way to switch to individual messages from digest on this
system? (oh wait, after much hunting in the jungle of text...)
