Play with the Boys
A little girl asked her mother, "Can I go outside and play
with the boys?"
Her mother replied, "No, you can't play with the boys, they're
too rough."
The little girl thought about it for a few moments and asked,
"If I can find a smooth one, can I play with him?"

Parking Space
Recently my son, Patrick, and I found ourselves short on
time and looking for a parking space at the mall. "Angels,
we're in a bit of a hurry and would like very much to find
a space near the entrance," I said.
"I don't know about all that, Dad," Patrick said uneasily.
I started to launch into a little sermon about how God
always helps those who ask him, when I saw Patrick's arm
shoot out and point toward the front of the mall. "Look!
A space!"
Sure enough, right by the entrance.
As I was pulling in, Patrick wondered whether it was all
just one big coincidence.
"Then again," he said, "maybe it was the angels. Check that
out!"
The license plate on the car across from us read "Amen."
