Hi everyone,Our MoM had an interesting book at service today. It's called, "The Praise
and Worship Team Instant Tune-Up" by Doug and Tami Flather (Zondervan). He
had let our youth ministry praise team leader borrow it. I just had to
borrow it myself and read.Verdict? Excellent. An easy read with sections on improving your playing
(tons of chord substitutions for guitarists), improving your arrangements,
improving your rehearsals and presentations and a nice appendix of
resources. (including suggestions for modulating between keys.) I'm going
to go buy a copy for myself tomorrow. For all worship leaders (past and/or present) what resources have you found
to be the best in building your praise teams? I see there are several other
worship leader books on Amazon.com. I've already read Heart of the Artist.
(Of course, the Bible always!)God bless,
Eric.
