Ever wonder why?

God have to do this to me?" Well, last night one of my boys handed
me this little story his mom has sent him. He told me his mother
was trying to encourage him, and it did!
I'm passing it along in hopes it will encourage you too.

A daughter was telling her Mother how everything is going wrong,
she's failing algebra, her boyfriend broke up with her and her
best friend is moving away. Meanwhile, her Mother is baking a
cake and asks her daughter if she would like some cake as a snack.
The daughter says, "Yes Mom, I LOVE your cake!"
"Here, have some cooking oil", her Mother offers.
"YUCK!!!!" yells the daughter,
Mom says, "Well, how about a couple of raw eggs?"
"Gross, Mom!!" The daughter retorts.
"Would you like some flour then? Or maybe baking soda?" Said Mom.
"Mom, those are all yucky!"
To which the mother replies: "Yes, all of those things are bad by
themselves. But when they are put together in the right way, they make
a wonderfully delicious cake!" God works the same way. Many times we
wonder why He would let us go through such bad and difficult times. But
God knows that when He puts these things all in His order, they always
work for good!

How often we complain because things are not going our way. We get mad
at some one because they were ugly to us, we cry because we were hurt by
someone's unkind words. We lose a dear friend, a job, our marriage, a
loved one to death, a child grieves our heart, or a horrendous accident
leaves us disabled. The yucky things in life will always happen. But
"TRUSTING" God with all our hearts WILL ALWAYS produce a good end result.
