Greetings my friends who receive Pastor Mail, Sermon Seeds and/or Mount Union Echoes,

My Mom called about 12:30 this morning to tell me that my Dad, John Peters, passed away peacefully in a nursing home where he had been for about three weeks. Although we had expected this sometime soon, it still came as a surprise. I believe my Dad knew the Lord and is in His presence.

We were scheduled to be in New Jersey where the funeral will be next weekend for a church anniversary of a church I pastored there. We will just go earlier, spend time with Mom and the family, have the funeral, and stay for the celebration. We will be gone until June 7.

This means that there will be no Sermon Seeds or Mount Union Echoes. I have made Pastor Mail so that it is temporarily an unmoderated list. All members can post.

We would appreciate your prayers at this time, and thank you for your cooperation.
