That wouldn't work in my situation, since the piano tuner we _had_ been
using consistently tuned the entire piano sharp. (About 1 dot over A=440
on my Korg tuner, whatever that translates to.)

My preferred method of tuning to a piano when it obviously won't work to
use an electronic tuner, is to have someone hit octaves rather than
just single notes, and usually just the A. That way I can pitch my pitch
between the pitches!!!
