[GEAR] Ummm, which one? For sale?

Okay, I have a DI Box delimma, but I think I have settled it in my own mind already. Is there such a thing as having too many DI Boxes?  I have my Behringer Ultra DI 100 and a Whirlwind IMP-2. The Behringer has two -20db pad switches, which come in really handy when I am using my EMG humbucker loaded, Devon "Ace Cooper" Diamond J 5 string. If I need to, the Behringer can run straight from my amp head's speaker output into the console, reverse an Unbalanced connection, etc... It is active, so it can send some good juice to the mixing board. As for the IMP-2. It's just a DI Box with a ground lift switch.

Uhhh, Ace, what is the delimma? Well, the Behringer has more features and I get better usage out of it. The downside is the size of the thing. The boxy size makes it hard to fit into one of the pockets on my gig bags. In the case - HA!  The Whirlwind IMP-2 fits into my shirt pocket in a pinch!  So, I am thinking about selling one of them - which will probably be the Whirlwind for $24.00 + shipping = $4.00. So that means that I will be keeping the Behringer Ultra DI - 100. I decided to use it this morning at church. I swapped out the church's double DI deal and connected the Behringer. You could really tell the difference in clarity vs the other "Non Active" DI. I was impressed. And, if the sound guy would have turned me down in the mix, I could have simply reached down and disengaged one of the  -20db pads!

Well, I gotta go and get some sleep. The old boy will be 40 this coming Saturday. So, I need all of the beauty rest that I can get. I don't want to be one of those bald brothers with a wrinkled up head!
