how long

May I ask how long in time length do most of you preach? Normally 20 min, 30 min, 40 min, beyond.

I am interested for a couple of reasons ...

Does our preaching take into consideration ...

(1) attention span of congregation

(2) leading of the Holy Spirit

(3) just trying to get information out

Would we listen to someone who said the message was too long? Do you ever think ... "I preached too long?"

This is not to begin discussion on what our people like or how much they can endure or should endure. Just dong some mulling over in my head, and if led of the Spirit how to go about changing.
