Hi Jan,

I just returned home from my trip to Michigan tonight. My parents live in Ishpeming, about 15 miles west of Marquette.

(I was born just outside of Detroit, but my parents moved to Upper Michigan just before I turned one year.)

The colors were very beautiful, it was a very nice trip.

We made many special memories with my Mom, and had wonderful times of singing around her bed and even at the piano in one of the rooms in the nursing home on Saturday.

What part of Michigan are you from? We visited Michigan for the first time this summer and it was so beautiful... we were in Sault St Marie and Kincheloe....

That bridge there is just beautiful..
