"Poor College Student Writes"

A college student wrote a letter home, "Dear
folks, I feel miserable because I have to keep
writing for money. I feel ashamed and unhappy.
I have to ask for another hundred, but my
conscience is killing me. I hope that you forgive me.
Your son,
Marvin.
P.S. I felt so terrible I ran after the mailman who
picked this up in the box at the corner. I wanted
to take this letter and burn it, but it was too late.
I wish I had never sent this letter."
A few days later he received a letter from his
father. It said, "Your wishes were answered.
Your letter never came!"

Bear Hunting
A man was out hunting, and came upon a bear. He shot at the bear, but only nicked him. The bear went after the hunter, and chased him some distance through the woods.
Finally the man came to the edged of a cliff, and had no where else to run. As he watched the bear approach, he began to pray.
"Dear God give this bear a touch of religion."
Suddenly the bear came to an abrupt stop, and looked up toward Heaven and said "Thank you Lord for this food which I am about to eat."

Gladys
There was this lady who was visiting a church one Sunday. The sermon seemed to go on forever, and many in the congregation fell asleep.
After the service, to be social, she walked up to a very sleepy looking gentleman, extended her hand in greeting, and said, "Hello, I'm Gladys Dunn."
And the gentleman replied, " You're not the only one ma'am, I'm glad it's done too!
