Prayers requested for a family in need

Posted by: masinick <masinick@...>

Dear friends,

When someone specifically asks me to pray, I am always willing to do so. In
this case, one of my graduate school study group partners, knowing that I am a
person of prayer, asked me if I would pray for this person, whom she actually
does not know personally, but who is a good friend of one of her good friends.
Now if someone thinks enough to ask for prayer, the very least I can do is to
bathe that person, and all those surrounding them, in prayer. Julie has given
me the OK to pass this on, so would you all lift up Diann, her husband Kevin,
all their family, and my study group partner Julie, in your prayers? Like each
of us, they need prayers, but today, their needs are urgent.

Dear God,

Please hear these cries for help. Comfort those who are hurt and confused by
all of this. Please demonstrate, in some tangible way, that Your Presence is
real, and that You do care. Do a mighty work. Help us as prayer warriers to
be faithful and remember those who ache, either with illness or with a sense of
loss or discouragement. Spread Your great love across the miles, drawing
people from everywhere to pray for this family and to draw close to one another
and especially to You. We love You, Lord, we trust You, and we place all
things where they belong - in Your control. Amen.
