Well, this may be the one part that they've got right. If they've managed
to make a true line source, then the sound will decrease at 3dB per
doubling of distance (due to having zero expansion of the wavefront in
the vertical plane) rather than the normal 6dB. Of course, given the size
of the things, that's only going to happen over a part of the audio
bandwidth, certainly not all the way down into the bass region. So I still
think there's too much hype, and that the system is probably overpriced
given its likely capabilities.
