I'm by no means an expert, but I think it's been stated here that lighter
gauge strings increase the tension. If I'm wrong, someone please correct me.
I'm wanting to try different strings on my G&L next time. I'm using
D'Adarrio Long scale 45 to 130. I want to go to a lighter gauge super long
to string through the body. Any suggestions on a brand anyone? Are SIT
strings any good? I know that's what G&L used to be shipped with.
