That's why their slogan is "Entertain Your Brain" Not
Educate.

These are the same folks that animate dinosaurs and
make Monster Houses.

The fact is that there is scant history on these
people because although they played key roles in
certain parts of the Bible they were not the central
characters.

So it's entertaining to have the gaps filled in but
certainly nothing that should disturb a believer's
faith. And it may put more meat on thin bones and
make these names a bit more interesting so that
curious non-believers might be stirred to do their on
investigation and be exposed to the "Real" story collaterally.
