I think I found it with stuff like compressed air and
other PC cleaning products.

It won't remove scratches at all.

Good points Josh.

The product is actually recommended for plastic and
plastic film such as the surface of flat panel
displays (which are not glass) and gloss plastic such
as Apple ibooks, CDs and the like. When I've tried to
clean my laptop monitor with water it left water
marks. iKlear doesn't. Works equally well on my bass
too.

I suggested for use on polyurethene finishes, not
unfinished or oil. Silicone on wood would be a problem
for a refinish. On a poly bass, if you're going to
refinish it, silicon content on the surface won't be
an issue as it's coming off in the process.
