I'm not aware of any scriptural basis for the concept that spritual
gifts are time-bound in any way. Where did you get that concept from?

While musical talent is probably not something *in itself* that would
be regared as a "spiritual gift", the ability to persevere in applying
it to the purpose of unifying the body of Christ and for the growth of
the Kingdomn of God on earth does fall well within the general nature
of the gifts described by Paul in 1 Cor 12, 1 Cor 12 and Eph 4 etc.

There is a body solid body of Christian teaching that supports the
proposition that there are many spiritual gifts, not limited to just
those explicitly mentioned by Paul. Dr. Lindsey Garmon has described
Spiritual gifts as...

God-given skills, abilities, and talents through which God’s
Spirit wishes to channel divine love, mercy, and power into
the lives of other people resulting in growth for the body of
Christ and glory for God!
