So I'm at rehearsal last night, groovin out, totally loving the prototype Yorkville amp I've got on trials right now...go to adjust the tuning on my E string and I hear a little snap and the string drops a whole step. I look at the peg, and there's a little plastic washer that's popped out...it's still around the peg, and it's still tunable (I was able to complete the practice session), but I want to get this fixed. However, while I'm a proficient bass player, I suck at repairs. Is this something I should take to my tech, or is it fairly easy to fix on my own? I'm talking a Spector 2000Q5 bolt on (if it was my beautiful neck through, I think I would have broke down in tears!)I figure to be able to slip the washer back in where it needs to be, I should be able to loosen the screw at the end of the peg, pull up the peg "handle" a bit and slip it back in...yes? no? Any specific ideas? Thanks in advance!Drew__________________________________________________________________
