are among the very lightest as standard, but can arrange extremely light
versions - at no extra cost!
The STD is also, by far, the most ergonomic bass on the market. I.e. the
one that makes the least extra strain on your arms and hands. If you are
deperate for traditional look, look at the Soul.
They are hard to find, to test, and also on the expensive side. However,
just ask the dealer for your area (see http://www.basslab.de for name etc) and
I reccon you can have one sent to you for test.
Personaly, I did. I bought one and became their agent for
Scandinavia.... In that order (just to clarify that this is not sales
talk, it's my experience).

They certainly have a great circus look... (I'd love to try
one 😉
For further information on them, check out
http://www.talkbass.com and do a search for basslab - the guy
who makes them (Heiko) is on there and there was a
recent thread where somebody had tried one on his quest
for a lightweight bass and been amazed. The weight for
the one that's, roughly speaking, a J-type bass, is about
2.6kg!
