"The Jewish Boy"

One day at Little Aaron's kindergarten a teacher said to the class of
5-year-olds, "I'll give $2 to the child who can tell me who was the most famous man who ever lived."

An Irish boy, Sean, put his hand up and said, "It was St. Patrick."
The teacher said, "Sorry Sean, that's not correct."

Then a Scottish boy, Hamish, put his hand up and said, "It was St.
Andrew."
The teacher replied, "I'm sorry, Hamish, that's not right either."
Finally, a Jewish boy, Little Aaron, raised his hand and said, "It was
Jesus Christ."

The teacher said, "That's absolutely right, Little Aaron, come up
here and I'll give you the $2."
As the teacher was giving him his money, she said, "You know Little
Aaron, since you're Jewish, I was very surprised you said Jesus
Christ."

Little Aaron replied, "Yeah. In my heart I knew it was Moses, but
business is business..."

"Prayer Request"

A young boy called the pastor of a local "corner" church to ask the pastor to come by to pray for his mother who had been very ill with the flu.  The pastor knew the family and was aware they had been attending another church down the road.  So the pastor asked, "Shouldn't you be asking Brother Simon down the road to come by to pray with your mom?"

The young boy replied, "Yeah, but we didn't want to take the chance that he might catch whatever it is that Mom has."

"Please be Quiet"

The little boy was horsing around in the library. The librarian confronted him and said. "Please be quiet, the people around you can't read."

"They can't?" the boy said. Then what are they doing in the library?"

"Loud Dress"

Many years ago, when my 9 year old daughter was 3,
we went to our usual Sunday morning church service.
We were seated and waiting for the service to begin,
when this woman walked by us in a really bright,
gaudy dress. My husband, who never says anything
about anyone, even made a comment about how
"loud" the dress was.
After the service was over, we were standing outside
the church chatting with another couple. I couldn't see
my daughter and then I noticed her standing right next
to (practically on top of) the woman with the dress.
When I asked her what she was doing, she said "I'm
trying to hear this dress mom. Dad said it was really
loud, but I haven't heard it make a peep yet."
Everyone within earshot, with the exception of my
husband and the woman in the dress burst out
laughing.
My husband wanted to crawl in a hole, and I have
to say I never saw that particular dress worn again.
