Dear friends,

For the rest of our week, as we enter into a weekend, I would
like to use an adaptation of a message that someone recently sent
me as something for all of us to think about. Chances are that
some of you have seen something like this before. Chances are
even better that you are familiar with at least some of the
scriptures behind what God has to say. If the verses aren't
already familiar to you, perhaps this would be a good

Dear Lord,

You have told us many things about Yourself and about us in Your
Word, yet so many of us either do not read Your Word, or we are
hesitant to believe what You say about Yourself and about us. I
pray that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon each of us
today. Grant us a measure of faith, enough that we would dare to
seek You, in order that we may be found - and saved from our own
destructive ways - saved by Your Amazing Grace. Use Your Word
with power today, that our lives may be forever changed, and
forever Yours. Amen.
