Word for Today, Thu, 19 Jan 2006: Give Thanks in all things

Dear friends,
I give thanks today to my God that He has chosen to give me
yet another day to live. That means that He has not given up
on me, He has plans for my life.
I thank my God that He has made provisions to forgive me, so
that if I confess my sins, He is faithful and just to forgive me
of my sins and cleanse me of all unrighteousness.
I thank God when He says yes to me, but I also thank God when
He says no to me. That way, I know that He has cares and concerns. Knowing
and believing that He created all things, I am absolutely certain that He knows
more than I know, and He is protecting me, or possibly someone else.
I know that God has a plan for my life, so I can give Him thanks.
Do you see how I can thank God, certainly when He affirmatively
answers what I ask of Him, but also when He doesn't?
Give Him double praise today, for He has graciously chosen
to say YES to you this very day.
