Dear friends,

Knowledge is good, but it is knowledge of God that is useful.
Even more than that, it is the knowledge of our complete reliance
on God that is the beginning of all wisdom. So today, I would
like to simply offer a short message. Whether we are on a
emotional mountaintop or a deep valley (or even a gully), let
each one of us remember today who God is, thank Him for loving us
(even if we do not feel that way), ask God to meet our deepest
need today, and I guarantee it will be done.

God has been directly, and simply, answering many of my most
basic prayers (such as peace and cooperation within my own
household). I encourage all of us (and remind myself) to come to
God today in prayer, that we may honor God, first and foremost,
by admitting our need, then God will be pleased to forgive us for
our failures, restore us, wherever restoration is needed, and
give us strength for today and hope for tomorrow --- just like
the hymn says, "Great is Thy Faithfulness, O God, my Father".
