Your Basic Bible Knowledge

The visiting church school supervisor asks little Johnny during Bible class
who broke down the walls of Jericho. Little Johnny replies that he does not
know, but it definitely is not him.
The supervisor, taken aback by this lack of basic Bible knowledge goes to
the school principal and relates the whole incident.
The principal replies that he knows little Johnny as well as his whole
family very well and can vouch for them, if little Johnny said that he did
not do it, he as principal is satisfied that it is the truth.
Even more appalled the inspector goes to the regional Head of Education and
relates the whole story.
After listening he replies: "I can't see why you are making such a big issue
out of this; just get three quotes and fix the stupid wall."
God Is Watching The Apples
The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school
for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made
a note, and posted on the apple tray, "Take only one. God is watching."
Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a
large pile of chocolate chip cookies. One child whispered to another, "Take
all you want. God is watching the apples."
Politician's Wife
One day I was reading a newspaper. On page two was a picture of a famous
politician and his gorgeous wife.
Slightly jealous of the politician, I turned to my wife and said, "It's
unfair that the biggest jerks in the world catch the most beautiful wives."
My wife smiled and replied, "Why, thank you dear."
