If life is like running a race, wouldn’t it be nice to date someone that is going in the same direction, and keeping up with your pace?

Don’t become partners with those who reject God. How can you make a partnership out of right and wrong? That’s not partnership; that’s war. Is light best friends with dark? Does Christ go strolling with the Devil? Do trust and mistrust hold hands? Who would think of setting up pagan idols in God’s holy Temple?  2 Corinthians 6

If a single person were to look to either side of the field they are running on, they may see someone of similar caliber that could be worthy.  Similar interests, similar values – and proving their intent to act in reaching the goal.  Why not become a friend to such a person?

Up to a real challenge?  Ask yourself “Am I running on the best field (in the right direction)?  Is what I am now, what I want to be?  Does this make God happy?”
