Ingredients: 1 Box yellow cake mix; 1 Box instant pudding; vanilla or pineapple; 4 Eggs; 3/4 c Oil; 1 cn (10 oz) or 1 1/4 c. 7-Up; 2 Eggs; 1 1/2 c Sugar; 1 tb Flour; 1 Stick melted margarine; 1 c Crushed pineapple including juice; 1 1/4 c Coconut

The problem with conservative churches is not that they lack members. The problem is that many of those members are not converted. Millions of members of evangelical churches are absent from worship services each Sunday and are equally absent from Christian living during the rest of the week. Biblical illiteracy and unethical conduct by Christians seem to be on the rise. Many people who attend are indifferent to the truths of Christianity, and others are divisive, even mean-spirited.

PINEAPPLE ICING

Beat first four ingredients until light and fluffy.  Add 7-Up and beat
well. Pour into greased and floured 9"x13" pan. Bake 40 minutes at 350
degrees. While cake is baking, make Pineapple icing: Blend first five
ingredients and cook until thick, then add coconut. Frost cake while it is
still warm.
