INGREDIENTS

1/2 | c | Cold Water |
1 1/2 | c | Boiling Water |
3/4 | c | Nonfat Dry Milk |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | t | Almond Extract |
1/4 | t | Ground Cinnamon |
1 | Pear, peeledcoredcubed | |
1 | c | Seedless Red Grapes |
2 | Kiwi Fruit, peeled and | |
sliced | ||
1 | Orange, peeledsectioned | |
1 1/3 | c | Pineapple Chunks |
1/4 | c | Orange Juice |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a small saucepan, combine the gelatin and cold water. Add the boiling water and stir until the gelatin is completely dissolved. Place over medium heat and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Gradually whisk in the dry milk and sugar and return to a boil. Stir in the almond extract and cinnamon. When the cinnamon is dissolved, pour the mixture into an 8 inch square pan. Cover and refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour. In a large bowl, combine the pear, grapes, kiwifruits, orange, pineapple and orange juice. Gently toss to mix well. To serve, cut the gelatin into 1 inch squares, add to the fruit and toss gently. Divide among 4 individual bowls. NOTES : Kiwifruits, oranges and pineapples are all excellent sources of vitamin C.
