Ingredients: 2 c Sifted flour; 2 ts Baking powder; 1/2 ts Salt; 1/4 c Sugar; 1/2 c Milk; 1/2 c Drippings or other shortening; 2 Eggs; 3/4 c Applesauce; unsweetened; 1/2 c Chopped nuts

INGREDIENTS

2	c	Sifted flour
2	ts	Baking powder
1/2	ts	Salt
1/4	c	Sugar
1/2	c	Milk
1/2	c	Drippings or other shortening
2		Eggs
3/4	c	Applesauce; unsweetened
1/2	c	Chopped nuts

INSTRUCTIONS

Sift flour, baking powder, sugar and salt together. Add melted drippings
and mix. Add beaten eggs, applesauce and nuts. Stir only until flour is
moistened. Fill greased 2 1/2 inch tins 2/3 full. Bake in moderate oven 375
