Ingredients: 2 c Sugar; 1 c Oil; 2 Eggs; 2 ts Vanilla; 2 c Flour; 1 ts Salt; 1 ts Baking soda; 1 ts Nutmeg; 1 ts Cinnamon; 2 c Applesauce (1 reg size can); 1 c Raisin (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Grease & flour 2 loaf pans.  Sift together dry ingredients, except sugar.
Set aside. Mix sugar, oil eggs, vanilla & applesauce. Blend together dry &
wet ingredients. Pour in pans. Bake at 350 for 40 min. Check with
toothpick. Note: makes small loaves & doesn't rise very much.
