Ingredients: 2 c Self-rising flour; 1/2 c Shortening; 1/2 c (about 2 ounces ) shredded cheddar cheese; 3/4 c Plus; 2 tb Milk; 1/4 c Chopped green onions; 4 sl Bacon; cooked and crumbled

A faith without some doubts is like a human body with no antibodies in it. People who blithely go through life too busy or indifferent to ask the hard questions about why they believe as they do will find themselves defenseless against either the experience of tragedy or the probing questions of a smart skeptic. A person's faith can collapse almost overnight if she failed over the years to listen patiently to her own doubts, which should only be discarded after long reflection.

INGREDIENTS

2	c	Self-rising flour
1/2	c	Shortening
1/2	c	(about 2 ounces ) shredded cheddar cheese
3/4	c	Plus

INSTRUCTIONS

Christmas. Combine flour and shortening; cut in shortening with a pastry
blender until mixture resembles coarse meal. Add cheese, milk, onions, and
bacon, stirring until dry ingredients are moistened. Turn dough out onto a
lightly floured surface, and knead lightly 4 or 5 times.Roll dough to
1/2-inch thickness; cut with a 2-inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased
baking sheet. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. Yield: about 1
dozen.

The Bible teaches it - 'And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved' (Ac. 4:12).
