Ingredients: 4 lg Baking potatoes; 2/3 c Butter; 2/3 c Flour; 6 c Milk; Salt and pepper; 4 Scallion; chopped & divided; 12 sl Bacon, Cooked, crumbled, divided; 1 1/4 c Cheddar cheese; shredded & divided; 8 oz Sour cream

Each of us has one spiritual gift, a blend of the different gifts the Spirit has put together for each of us. Like a painter who is able to create an infinite number of colors by mixing any combination of the ten or so colors he carries in his palette, so the Spirit of God blends a little of one gift with a little of another to create the perfect combination within you. As a result, you have a unique position in the Body of Christ, with an ability to minister as no one else can.

INGREDIENTS

4	lg	Baking potatoes
2/3	c	Butter
2/3	c	Flour
6	c	Milk
		Salt and pepper
4		Scallion; chopped & divided
12	sl	Bacon, Cooked, crumbled, divided
1 1/4	c	Cheddar cheese; shredded & divided
8	oz	Sour cream

INSTRUCTIONS

Bake potatoes. Cool. Scoop out pulp and set aside. Discard skins. Melt
butter over low heat and add flour. Add milk, until thick. Add potato pulp,
salt, pepper, 2 tablespoons of green onion, 1/2 cup of crumbled bacon and
cup cheese. Cook until throughly heated; stir in sour cream and heat
through. Serve with remaining green onions, bacon and 1/4 cup greese as
garnish.

And it needs them to embrace the role God has given them without looking back. We have so much to do, and we have so little time to accomplish it all. God has given us a great gift in calling us to the home. Our role is not inferior because it is “unpaid.” Our role is not of lesser importance because it isn’t out in the public sphere. When God created mankind “male and female,” He showed us that it takes both “halves” to make up the whole of humanity. That our roles differ is a cause for rejoicing and glory – not a cause for shame or depression. When both roles complement each other beautifully, we demonstrate to the world a picture of God’s divine image that is breathtaking to behold. We demonstrate the union of Christ and His Bride, the Church. Rejecting our roles or revising them to suit our individual tastes and plans is blasphemy. I didn’t say it; St. Paul did.
