Name: Blackberry Pie
Ingredients: 3 c Blackberries; 1 Lemon; 2 tb Sugar; 2 tb Flour; 1/2 ts Butter; Crushed biscuits OR:; Cake crumbs

We know the principle of justice that when two legitimate rights conflict, the right that protects the higher value should prevail. We deny the right to drive at 100 miles per hour because the value of life is greater than the value of being on time or getting thrills. The right of the unborn not to be killed and the right of a woman not to be pregnant may be at odds. But they are not equal rights. Staying alive is more precious and more basic than not being pregnant.

INGREDIENTS

3	c	Blackberries
1		Lemon
2	tb	Sugar
2	tb	Flour
1/2	ts	Butter
		Crushed biscuits OR:
		Cake crumbs

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Add the blackberries and the juice of the lemon to a pot with 1 cup of
water. Cook thoroughly, sugaring to taste.
2. When cold put into a pie dish and sprinkle with sugar and flour and add
the butter.
3. Cover with the crushed biscuits and cook in a moderate to hot oven for
30    minutes.
