Melt a piece of butter the size of an egg in a double boiler. When melted
add hot water and brown sugar. Let boil five minutes, stirring constantly
with wooden spoon. Beat egg yolks and add some milk. Then add flour and
more milk. Finally adding salt. Mix this egg and milk mixture with the
brown sugar, water and butter and cook until thick. Put in baked crust and
put egg whites (beaten) on top. Brown Meringue in oven at 350 degrees about
10 minutes or until lightly browned.
