God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
The crux of the human problem, according to Israel's faith, is not the fact of suffering but the character of man's relationship to God. Outside the relationship for which man was created, suffering drives men to despair or to the easy solutions of popular religion. Within the relationship of faith, suffering may be faced in the confidence that man's times are in God's hands and that “in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose” (Rom. 8:28).

INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all four ingredients together, stir until
smooth and most of the lumps are gone. Pour into 8 or 9 inch round cake
pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
Note...Since you are using only 1/2 box of yellow cake mix and corn bread
mix, combine the other half together and store in zippered plastic bag
until the next time you make corn bread.
Note 2...I use the small boxes of Jiffy Corn Bread Mix and Jiffy Yellow
Cake mix. Submitted By [email protected] On TUE, 21 NOV 1995 210034 -0500
