Name: Candied Chicken
Ingredients: 3 lb Whole chicken; cut up; 1/4 c Onion; chopped; 3/4 c Water; 1/2 ts Salt; 1 1/2 c Brown sugar; 1/2 c Ketchup; 1/4 c Prepared mustard; 1 tb Worcestershire sauce

I hear men praying everywhere for more faith, but when I listen to them carefully, and get to the real heart of their prayer, very often it is not more faith at all that they are wanting, but a change from faith to sight. Faith says not, “I see that it is good for me, so God must have sent it,” but, “God sent it, and so it must be good for me.” Faith, walking in the dark with God, only prays Him to clasp its hand more closely.

INGREDIENTS

3	lb	Whole chicken; cut up
1/4	c	Onion; chopped
3/4	c	Water
1/2	ts	Salt
1 1/2	c	Brown sugar
1/2	c	Ketchup

1	tb	Worcestershire sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

Coat chicken with flour. Fry till barely golden. Place in pyrex casserole
dish and pour sauce over the top. Cover tightly with a lid or foil.  Bake
at
350    for 1 1/2 hours.
Serving Ideas : Serve over warm rice.
NOTES : When this comes out it falls off the bone.  This is one of my =
families favorite chicken recipes.  It is kind of a cross between sweet =
and sour and barbque.
