God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Without absolutes revealed from without by God Himself, we are left rudderless in a sea of conflicting ideas about matters, justice and right and wrong, issuing from a multitude of self-opinionated thinkers.

INSTRUCTIONS
Mix 4 cups sugar, evaporated milk & butter in a heavy pan. Begin cooking on
medium heat. In another heavy pan, brown 1/2 cup sugar over medium heat.
Let both come to a boil. (They must be boiling to mix.) Pour browned sugar
slowly into boiling sugar mixture. Boil slowly to soft ball stage (232
degrees). When this mixture reaches soft ball stage, remove from heat &
cool. (This can be achieved quickly by placing pan in small amount of cool
water.) Add vanilla. Beat continually until smooth & will spread easily.
(If icing gets too hard, add a few drops milk & continue to beat until
right consistency is reached.)
