INSTRUCTIONS
Grate the apple (including the skin, but not the core) and the skin of the
orange into an ovenproof dish. Mix in the juice of the orange and half the
sugar.
Melt the margarine in a saucepan over a low heat and mix in the oats and
the rest of the sugar. Stir until thoroughly coated. Spread over the top of
the apple mixture. Stand for one hour before cooking for 20-30 minutes at
375 degrees F.
NOTES:
* Apple and orange pudding with oats on top -- From "Friends of the Earth
Cookbook." A really quick to prepare, juicy pudding - it's amazing the
difference the orange makes.
* Try it with different toppings - crumble or cornflakes for example.
