God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
No upsurge of religious interest or excitement merits the name of revival if there is no profound sense of sin at its heart. God's coming, and the consequent impact of His Word, makes Christians much more sensitive to sin than they previously were: consciences become tender and a profound humbling takes place. The perverseness, ugliness, uncleanness, and guilt of sin are seen and felt with new vividness.
Dice potatoes and carrots. In a 3-qt. pan, put carrots on to cook first in
about 2-3 cups of water. Add potatoes after about 5 minutes. Cook until
almost done, adding water if needed. Add broccoli and cook until almost
tender. Stir in soup and then Velveeta. Heat until cheese melts. Add milk
if needed for desired consistency. Heat through.
This is one of those play-with recipes. Adjust the amounts to suit your
own tastes.
