God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
[It was said of Charles Spurgeon], “His public prayers were an inspiration and benediction, but his prayers with the family were to me more wonderful still… Mr. Spurgeon, when bowed before God in family prayer, appeared a grander man even than when holding thousands spellbound by his oratory.”

INSTRUCTIONS
A very ole recipe
Apeck of black wild cherries, soaked in cold water for 24 hours. Put them
in a demifobn ( think its a bowl or cup..) add two pounds of brown sugar
and two quarts of black berries and a gallon of the best New England Rum
you can find, the older the better.
Sailors were given this at Christmas in 1864, the soldiers in the fields
were not this lucky.
