INGREDIENTS

1/4 c Onion, chopped
1/2 Green bell pepper
finely chopped
1 c Sliced mushrooms
4 T Margarine
1/4 c Plain flour
1/4 t Salt, optional
1/4 t Ground white pepper
1 1/2 c Skim milk
1 c Low sodium chicken broth
1 1/2 c Cooked chicken, chopped
1 Pimento, diced

INSTRUCTIONS

In medium size saucepan over medium  heat, saute' onion, bell pepper
and mushrooms in margarine.  Stir in  flour, salt and pepper.  Reduce
heat to low; cook, stirring mixture  constantly with a wooden spoon
until bubbly. Remove from heat. Using  a whisk, stir in milk and broth.
Heat to boiling, stirring  constantly. Stir in chicken and pimento;
heat through. Serve over  whole wheat toast. Approximately 145 calories
