Name: Chicken in Orange Sauce
Ingredients: 4 Whole chicken breasts; (up to 6); 1 Onion; (even a Maui onion will do)(sorry Mary-couldn't resist); 1/2 c Frozen orange juice concentrate; 2 tb Brown sugar; 2 tb Parsley -fresh; 1 ts Soy sauce; (low salt); 1/2 ts Ginger; 1/3 c Water; 1 ts Sherry

The first thing we learn about time in the Bible is that God created it and that time is contrasted with eternity. Time characterizes creation, but the Creator is eternal. God is not bound by time, and He created time as a feature of creation that reveals His glory. This means that we must always understand time against the backdrop of eternity and God’s eternal purposes... We...are limited to the same twenty-four-hour day. But we are not limited to the horizon of earthly time. We want our lives to serve an eternal purpose.

INGREDIENTS

2	tb	Brown sugar
2	tb	Parsley -fresh
1	ts	Soy sauce; (low salt)
1/2	ts	Ginger
1/3	c	Water
1	ts	Sherry

INSTRUCTIONS

Slice onion thin and saute or microwave till soft. Set aside. Cook chicken
however you prefer. Bake, broil, micro. - I prefer grilled, but will micro
in a pinch. Simmer remaining ingredients till thick. Arrange chicken on a
platter, top with onions and pour sauce over all. Seems very simple, I
know, but the flavor is wonderful. Fixed this alot for my dad after his
heart attack. (The sauce can be made and kept in jar in refrig to use as
needed.)
