God: "I looked for someone to take a stand for me, and stand in the gap" (Ezekiel 22:30)
Deep in our timid hearts is a desire to be loved mildly, nothing more. That way, we retain control, we set the terms, we avoid risk. Our loving God, in His ferocious intensity, will have none of it. He defines the meaning of our lives, and we are saved from our anemic loves and brought by degrees into intense loves, like His own.

INSTRUCTIONS
I made a marbled no-bake cheesecake last week in honor of Shavuot, and
cameº up with this crust. It was great!
Put granola and cocoa into a food processor bowl. Process till no clumps
remain. Add honey and enough water to moisten. Press into the bottom of a
Pammed 10-inch springform pan. Bake about 10 minutes at 350 F.
For a 9-inch pie crust, increase the ingredients by about 50%.
For a non-chocolate crust, just leave out the cocoa.
