INSTRUCTIONS
OK, it's COOKIE time! I got this from Cooking Light November-December 1996
and turned it back into a real cookie recipe.
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine first 4 ingredients in bowl; stir well. Set aside. Combine
butter and sugars in a large gowl; Beat at medium speed with a mixer until
light and fluffy. add apple sauce, vanilla, egg and egg white; beat well.
Add dry ingredients; beat at low speed until well blended. Gently stir in
chips and nuts.
3. Grease cookie sheets. Drop dough by level teaspoons, one inch apart,
onto cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until almost set.
Remove from oven; let stand 2 to 3 minutes or until firm. Remove from pans,
let cool on wire racks. Eat and share!
