Ingredients: 4 oz Cake flour -or-; 6 oz All-purpose flour; 1/2 ts Baking soda; 1/2 ts Salt; 1 ts Vanilla essence; 4 oz Granulated sugar; 1 1/2 oz Brown sugar; 1 Egg; 3 oz Vegetable shortening; 1/2 pk Chocolate chips

I fear it is sometimes forgotten that God has married together justification and sanctification. They are distinct and different things, beyond question, but one is never found without the other. All justified people are sanctified, and all sanctified are justified. What God has joined together let no man dare to put asunder. Tell me not of your justification, unless you have also some marks of sanctification. Boast not of Christ’s work for you, unless you can show us the Spirit’s work in you. Think not that Christ and the Spirit can ever be divided.

3	oz	Vegetable shortening
1/2	pk	Chocolate chips

This recipe was given to me years ago by Canadian friends because I enjoyed
the cookies so much.  I hope you will too.
Sift toogether the first three ingredients, then mix everything else except
the chocolate chips in thoroughly.  Add the chocolate chips.  Drop
teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet (well spaced out - they spread)
and bake for 10-12 minutes at 375F.
