Name: Chocolate Turtles with Caramel Filling
Ingredients: 2 c White sugar; 2 c White Karo syrup; 1 cn (14 oz.) Eagle Brand; 1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter

1. Subdue self-will in a child and thus work together with God to save his soul. 2. Teach him to pray as soon as he can speak. 3. Give him nothing he cries for and only what is good for him if he asks for it politely. 4. To prevent lying, punish no fault which is freely confessed, but never allow a rebellious, sinful act to go unnoticed. 5. Commend and reward good behavior. 6. Strictly observe all promises you have made to your child.

INGREDIENTS

2	c	White sugar
2	c	White Karo syrup
1	cn	(14 oz.) Eagle Brand
1/2	lb	(2 sticks) butter

INSTRUCTIONS

Cook slow until rolling boil the sugar, Karo syrup and butter, stirring
constantly and slowly add Eagle Brand and cook to 234 degrees. In double
boiler, melt on low heat chocolate wafers; coat candy mold with chocolate.
Top with spoonful of caramel; top with nuts, then cover to seal with
chocolate. Set in freezer 5 minutes to set. Take out and serve. Caramel
filling and 3 pounds chocolate make 60 turtles.
