INGREDIENTS
| 1 | c | Butter |
| 2 | c | Packed brown sugar |
| 1 | ts | Vanilla |
| 2 | Eggs | |
| 3 | c | Flour |
| 1 | ts | Baking soda |
| 1/2 | ts | Salt |
| 3 | tb | Unsweetened cocoa |
| 1 | c | Chopped nuts |
INSTRUCTIONS
In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until smooth. Add remaining ingredients except nuts; mix until well blended. (dough will be very stiff) Stir in nuts. Using lightly floured waxed paper, shape into six 8" X 1" rolls. Chill overnight. Cut into 1/4" slices. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes or until firm to the touch. Yield 13 doz.
