Ingredients: 1 c Milk or light cream; 1/4 c Vinegar; 1 Egg; 1 tb Butter or margarine; softened; 2 tb Flour; 2 ts Sugar; 1 ts Dry mustard; 1 ts Salt; 1/2 ts Celery seed; optional; A few grains of cayenne

I cannot even conceive how a mother could think of a baby as an enemy. Whether that baby was a product of rape, or whether that baby was in some way malformed, how that woman could think that child in her was an enemy when she has been given the God-given privilege of protecting that little life with all of its weaknesses. Certainly that’s not natural instinct to a mother. She would have to be sold that by a culture that had become decadent.

INGREDIENTS

1	c	Milk or light cream
1/4	c	Vinegar
1		Egg

INSTRUCTIONS

In covered blender jar, blend all ingredients at low speed until smooth.
Cook over hot water in a bowl or top of a double boiler, until thick. Serve
on green salads or use to dress slaws. Makes about 1 1/2 cups.

A number of years ago, the pain was so intense that the physical affliction Paul spoke about earlier in 2 Corinthians 11 would have been much preferred. I can take the long hours and the hard work. I can even take the pressures on my family. But the emotional pain is the one and only thing that forever tempts me to throw in the towel. When I feel that way, I can almost hear the Lord saying to me, 'Are you in it for Me or are you in it for yourself?' That's gut-check time. Am I really a servant of Christ (2 Cor. 11:23)?
