INGREDIENTS

2 pk Frozen chopped spinach; 10oz each; defrosted & drained
4 sl Crisp bacon; finely chopped
1/2 c Onion; finely chopped
2 ts Garlic; chopped
2 tb Flour
1 ts Lawry's seasoned salt
1 ts Black pepper
1 c Milk
1 c Half-and-half

INSTRUCTIONS

Put spinach through a meat grinder or chop fine.
Fry the bacon in a heavy-bottom saucepan until golden brown. Add onion and
cook until tender. Add garlic. Remove from heat. Add flour, salt and
pepper. Blend thoroughly. Slowly add milk and half-and-half. Return to heat
and stir until thickened. Add spinach and mix thoroughly. Cook for 3 to 4
minutes.
Makes about 4 servings.
Nutritional analysis: per serving: 210 calories, 13g fat, 577mg sodium,
38mg cholesterol. 51% calories from fat.
