Tootie's Notes: Mother used to make large batches of this when the last of
the tomatoes came off the vines. We called it Tomato Pudding. We floated
buttered toast and cheese on top. she would also, make a large batch and
put a crust on top and bake in the oven for a tomato pie. Lordy, Lordy how
I miss those days.
