INSTRUCTIONS
Sorry about the responses you received regarding your inquiry, I don't have
the recipe in fact never even heard of the bakery but I do have a very good
one taken from my Simply Delicious Cooking 2 cookbook, enjoy. Chef K
Cream the shortening and sugar, add beaten eggs, molasses and coffee / rum.
Mix well. Add spices to flour and add to mixture. Add strawberry jam and
fruit last. Divide into two, five pound pans which have been greased and
floured. Bake for 3 hours in a preheated oven at 275 - 300 F (150 - 160 C).
NOTE: If rum is used instead of coffee allow the fruit to soak in it
overnight for a better flavour.
