INGREDIENTS

12 Bananas, sliced
3 c Onions, finely chopped
1 c Well packed dates
Chopped
2 c Vinegar
2 t Curry powder
1 c Ginger, finely chopped
1 T Salt
2 c Brown sugar or molasses

INSTRUCTIONS

Put the bananas, onions and dates in a heavy pot, pour the vinegar
over and cook until tender.  Beat to a pulp and add the curry powder,
ginger, salt, and molasses.  Cook again until a rich brown color is
